Explain briefly about processor, assembler, loader, linker and the functions executed by them. 

Processor : performs all the functions for a program in execution ie., ALU, MU, CU.
Assembler : converts High level to Assembly Language or Low level language.
Loader : Loads the program from hard disk to main memory for execution.
Linker :Â ( dynamic and static ) most OS supports only static linking, in which system language libraries are treated like any other object module and are combined with the loader into the binary program image. And DYAMIC linking is links the library files at the run time.
